Business Analyst - Front Office

Location: Kitchener/Markham, ON

Constellation1, a Constellation Software Inc. company, is looking for a strong Business Analyst to join our team.  We are an industry leader in the integrated online real estate technology business and are partnered with some of the largest names in real estate.

This is a highly visible professional growth role that will keep you challenged and learning while utilizing the full range of your skills.  In this role you will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, Quality Assurance, and Clients to execute on software development projects for our front-office real estate product suite.  Our Front-Office portfolio consists of industry leading: Property Search, Marketing, and Lead Generation solutions (Website, CRM, Marketing, Social, Testimonial, Relocation, SEO/SEM, Mobile iOS/Android). The ideal candidate would be a driven, self-sufficient individual with a sound analytical mind and strong documentation skillset.

Responsibilities: 

  • Partner with Product Management and Account Management to ensure necessary documentation is prepared for product releases and user guides
  • Document business objectives as defined by the product roadmap and client needs and translate them into Jira tickets with clear requirements
  • Define, develop, and deliver both internal and external KPI reports
  • Work with Project Management to ensure requirements are documented and other deliverables are completed within set milestones and timelines
  • Oversee implementation of projects from inception to completion
  • Use data analysis and organizational tools to uncover insights related to product usage 
  • Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data
  • Use graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data
  • Report on KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions
  • Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • 2 years or more in a software applications business analyst or product management role with experience creating and detailing requirements for user stories
  • Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing
  • Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions
  • Basic knowledge in generating process documentation
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to adeptly demonstrate products
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills a must
  • Experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence an asset
  • Working knowledge of MS desktop tools

Implementation Specialist

Location: Kitchener/Markham, ON

The Implementation Specialist is responsible for the onboarding and training of Constellation1 Software solutions to our customer base. The position will focus on understanding the customer’s needs, completing applicable onboarding/training, supporting the customer throughout the implementation process and providing feedback internally to key stakeholders on areas for improvement based on customer feedback and implementation roadblocks. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assess customer’s needs and determine optimal implementation path
  • Act as the primary point of contact for designated customer’s
  • Modify project plans for each customer, detailing the tasks that need to be completed for the timely installation of software.
  • Assist customer in optimal utilization of software tools
  • Provide training to all customer’s using web service tools
  • Develop new processes and recommend improvements to all procedures and ensure optimal level of customer satisfaction at all times
  • Coordinate with customers to ensure implementation is completed within required timeframes according to contract
  • Schedule and run meetings. Communicate post-training action items and accomplishments.
  • Collaborate with customer’s, web developers, programmers, product managers, account managers and sales personnel. 
  • Identify and communicate risks. Escalate to management when needed.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in verbal and written English
  • Strong understanding/experience in Accounting/Bookkeeping 
  • Proven experience working as an Implementation Specialist
  • Sound technical knowledge
  • Ability to multi-task effectively
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Organizational skills including attention to detail.

  • Project Management Institute certification (CAPM, PMP)

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Inside Sales Representative

Location: Kitchener/Markham, ON

Constellation1 is looking for a motivated and well-spoken Inside Sales Representative to join our sales team. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new leads, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process. You must be able to close sales and meet targets.  As the Inside Sales Representative, you will preform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision, interact professionally with other employees, managers and vendors, and work independently while understanding the necessity of communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.

Responsibilities: 

  • Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new account, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing quotations / proposals.
  • Develop and execute an approved quarterly business plan
  • Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.
  • Understanding customers’ needs and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Answering potential customers’ questions and sending additional information per email.
  • Keeping up with product and service information and updates.
  • Creating and maintaining a Sales Force database of current and potential customers.
  • Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services.
  • Staying informed about competing products and services.
  • Upselling products and services.

Requirements:

  • Passion for finding and identifying those who “want to learn more” about our products and services – a true hunter
  • Able to work well in a Team environment
  • Results-driven self-starter who is persistent and highly motivated to generate leads and increase earnings despite rejection
  • Proficient with web-based software and technologies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com.

Marketing Coordinator

Location: Kitchener/Markham, ON

The Marketing Coordinator assists with various channels of marketing across Constellation1 with a focus on special projects as needed for several products that are under the Constellation1 umbrella. The role will work under the guidance for the Marketing Manager. The Marketing Manager sets the product positioning, lead generation needs, communications plans and brand asset requirements. The Marketing Coordinator will execute numerous tasks and tactics as part of those plans. This is a task-based role that offers the right candidate a great opportunity to be part of a high performing marketing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Social media posting and monitoring, including our blog.
    • Writing/posting
    • Sourcing imagery or aligning with brand/campaign creative needs
    • Managing ongoing social calendar with a work-back schedule to ensure we do not miss a beat to engage our audience and grow our reach
    • Scheduling and publishing
  • Executing enablement asset updates (updated images, product marketing content updates, etc.)
    • PowerPoint design support to the marketing and sales team within the product marketing messages set for

Skills:

  • Video production experience is not required but would be an asset
  • Experience working in a B2B software market
  • Experience in real estate an asset
  • HubSpot or similar marketing automation program experience is preferred
  • Google Analytics experience is required
  • Some WordPress experience required (note we have a web developer on the team)
  • Microsoft Office experience is required (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
