Director of Business Development - Front Office
Constellation1 is looking for a senior sales leader with demonstrated experience in the real estate vertical to continue to develop our o real estate brokerage, franchise, and MLS board sales channel. You will drive the relationship and engagement with the potential prospects and internal partners to drive increased success with new clients.
Focused on promoting Constellation1 Front Office Products (Websites, CRM, Social Media, Testimonial / Referral) to real estate brokerages, franchises, and MLS boards.
Success in this role is driven by meeting sales & revenue goals with new clients and established clients. This role is perfect for a an individual with past front office sales experience, strong enterprise full cycle sales executive that would like to help develop, grow, and lead an emerging part of our company strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Enterprise Revenue: Grow revenue through Enterprise sales (defined as Top 1500+ Brokers) with a focus on recurring maintenance contacts of Constellation1’s front office products
- Other Revenue: Comfortable growing revenue through brokerage, franchise, and MLS sales.
Skills and Requirements:
- Strong track record of success in enterprise sales to real estate brokers and franchises.
- Proven experience delivering new revenue and client satisfaction in an enterprise sales role
- 5 plus years of experience in selling front office products to real estate brokers and franchises.
- Ability to deliver high value win-win business & revenue opportunities with enterprise Customers
- Experience in working closely with Customers and internal teams to get alignment on overall business deliverables including revenue, contracts, technical scope, and launch.
- Strong relationship building skills with proven ability to build, grow, and maintain internal and external long-term relationships
- Able to think outside the box and create, define, and execute new business opportunities
- Work collaboratively cross-functionally at all levels within the organization with product managers

Salary Range:
The estimated base salary range for this role in the United States is $80,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year. For compliance with local legislation, and to provide greater transparency to applicants, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of the desired hiring location or whether the position is remote. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above, based upon geographic location, candidate experience and expertise, and other relevant factors.

Responsibilities:
- Technically analyze incoming customer enhancement requests. Decipher their place within our existing software products to determine integration points and assist in designing a strategy for product incorporation.
- A key contributor to the agile product development process including breaking down epics into user stories, maintaining a refined backlog, prioritizing stories into sprints and actively participating in retrospectives with the goal of flawless execution and delivery.
- Collaborate with product managers and cross functional teams to write functional product requirements for UI/UX Designers and Engineers, author Business Requirements Documents [BRDs] for product enhancements and translate those to clearly defined epics & user stories.
- Manage the release process for product enhancements, tracking timelines, expected deliveries, and communicating with stakeholders from start to finish.
- Assist with identifying customer pain points, goals, and asks; translate their aspirations into product ideas, and prioritize product ideas based on the user engagement and business metrics impact.
- Provide support to Account Management, Sales and Marketing with up-to-date documentation, assets and demos.
- Analyze competitive products, features and market trends in order to help roadmap development. Make recommendations regarding product features and enhancements to ensure ongoing viability of products and emerging usability and technology trends.
- Dig into data, understand user behavior, feature adoption rate, customer performance metrics and create both internal and external facing KPI reports.
- Position may include other duties as determined by the company.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred
- 2 years or more as a Business Analyst or a Product Owner in a software development organization
- 2 years or more of software coding or DBA experience
- Experience with the agile software development process
- Experience with Jira, Confluence and screen mockup tools
- Proven project management skills to work with cross-functional groups to get things done on time
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions

Scheduler/Appointment Setter
This Appointment Setter position is a full-time position that involves scheduling new sales presentations for Product Specialist, researching leads, maintaining records on offices and contacts, following up, promoting and marketing scheduled presentations..
The position requires excellent phone skills as 75% – 90% of the time will be on the phone, calling real estate offices to schedule presentations and calling existing clients. Approximately 75% of the time will be calling and scheduling appointments. This position is located in Rockville, MD and will (initially) be remote, with a return to the office TBD. (Possibility for a remote/in-office split.)
Duties:
- Schedule New Sales Opportunities for Product Specialist via phone and email
- Work with the administrator/contact person to schedule return visits to offices where it strategically makes sense to do so, to obtain new sales revenue opportunities and upgrades and to obtain referrals to other offices
- Maintain detailed records of companies, offices, contact information, and calls made
- Send out email confirmations, flyers, and other promotional materials
- Confirm appointments scheduled
- Keep adequate and detailed records on meetings scheduled
- Other duties, as assigned
Skills Required:
- Excellent telephone skills as 75%-90% of time will be spent on the phone
- Strategic critical thinking for optimal results

Account Manager
Constellation1 is looking for a strong Account Manager with software experience to support our real estate brokerage and MLS clients with our web-based products. This role is operationally focused with a goal to advocate for our clients, partner with them on business initiatives, and provide best practice product configurations and technology solutions. You will have direct impact on the customer experience, enhancing the speed and quality of customer contact resolution and ensuring that your accounts feel supported and satisfied. The Account Manager is also responsible for customer retention, uncovering sales opportunities within the existing customer base, and growing revenue through cross-selling Constellation1 products and services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as first line of customer support, solving some issues on your own while prioritizing and working with a variety of other departments to provide customer solutions
- Grow your Accounts’ Annual Recurring Revenue 10% year over year
- Sell and manage Professional Service projects that add 10%+ billing on top of your total Accounts’ Annual Recurring Revenue
- Identify sales opportunities for new products and modules with regular phone calls and customer visits
- Increase usage of products and services across our customer base
- Help establish and report success metrics (reporting focused on ROI and business intelligence: traffic, leads, conversions, closed transactions, recruiting, retention, referrals)
- Keep clients and team members informed of issue resolution and provide follow up as necessary
- Promote and maintain a high quality, professional, service-oriented company image among clients
- Work with senior management and the accounting team on contract and billing enquiries
- Travel within Canada and United States, likely less than 10% travel
Required Skills:
