Business Analyst - Front Office

Location: Kitchener/Markham, ON

Constellation1, a Constellation Software Inc. company, is looking for a strong Business Analyst to join our team.  We are an industry leader in the integrated online real estate technology business and are partnered with some of the largest names in real estate.

This is a highly visible professional growth role that will keep you challenged and learning while utilizing the full range of your skills.  In this role you will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, Quality Assurance, and Clients to execute on software development projects for our front-office real estate product suite.  Our Front-Office portfolio consists of industry leading: Property Search, Marketing, and Lead Generation solutions (Website, CRM, Marketing, Social, Testimonial, Relocation, SEO/SEM, Mobile iOS/Android). The ideal candidate would be a driven, self-sufficient individual with a sound analytical mind and strong documentation skillset.

Responsibilities: 

  • Partner with Product Management and Account Management to ensure necessary documentation is prepared for product releases and user guides
  • Document business objectives as defined by the product roadmap and client needs and translate them into Jira tickets with clear requirements
  • Define, develop, and deliver both internal and external KPI reports
  • Work with Project Management to ensure requirements are documented and other deliverables are completed within set milestones and timelines
  • Oversee implementation of projects from inception to completion
  • Use data analysis and organizational tools to uncover insights related to product usage 
  • Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data
  • Use graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data
  • Report on KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions
  • Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • 2 years or more in a software applications business analyst or product management role with experience creating and detailing requirements for user stories
  • Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing
  • Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions
  • Basic knowledge in generating process documentation
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to adeptly demonstrate products
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills a must
  • Experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence an asset
  • Working knowledge of MS desktop tools

Implementation Specialist

Location: Kitchener/Markham, ON

The Implementation Specialist is responsible for the onboarding and training of Constellation1 Software solutions to our customer base. The position will focus on understanding the customer’s needs, completing applicable onboarding/training, supporting the customer throughout the implementation process and providing feedback internally to key stakeholders on areas for improvement based on customer feedback and implementation roadblocks. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assess customer’s needs and determine optimal implementation path
  • Act as the primary point of contact for designated customer’s
  • Modify project plans for each customer, detailing the tasks that need to be completed for the timely installation of software.
  • Assist customer in optimal utilization of software tools
  • Provide training to all customer’s using web service tools
  • Develop new processes and recommend improvements to all procedures and ensure optimal level of customer satisfaction at all times
  • Coordinate with customers to ensure implementation is completed within required timeframes according to contract
  • Schedule and run meetings. Communicate post-training action items and accomplishments.
  • Collaborate with customer’s, web developers, programmers, product managers, account managers and sales personnel. 
  • Identify and communicate risks. Escalate to management when needed.

Qualifications

UI/UX Designer

Location: Kitchener/Markham, ON

Constellation1, a Constellation Software Inc. company, is looking for a strong UI/UX Designer to join our Product team.  We are an industry leader in the integrated online real estate technology business and are partnered with some of the largest names in real estate.

This is a highly visible professional growth role that will keep you challenged and learning while utilizing the full range of your skills.  In this role you will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, Quality Assurance, and Clients to create easy, intuitive and frictionless user experiences for our real estate technology product suites.  This position is responsible for designing user interfaces, user workflow, wireframe, user interface design patterns for enterprise & mobile applications based on product requirements, input from field operations & customers and adhering to usability and branding standards. Our Product portfolio consists of industry leading front-office, back-office, and data solutions including: Website, CRM, Marketing, Relocation, Transaction Management, Commissions, and Accounting.

Responsibilities: 

  • UI/UX Designer will gather and evaluate user requirements, in collaboration with product managers and engineers. Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps. 
  • Design graphic user interface elements and prototype user experiences using InvisionApp. 
  • Plan and conduct user research and competitor analysis.
  • Create user stories, personas, and storyboards.
  • Determine information architecture, create sitemaps, and conduct usability testing.
  • Define UI standards/patterns and help enforce them across a diverse development team
  • Define user interfaces for a web-based & mobile applications based on product requirements, and input from customers
  • Be an advocate for our users and influence the product team and the overall organization to achieve solutions that are intuitive, easy and frictionless.
  • Research interaction design and technology trends

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
  • 3+ years professional experience in designing for enterprise web applications
  • 2+ years’ experience working with Adobe Creative Suite and using InvisionApp for prototyping
  • Experience designing responsive designs across a multitude of device types
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Inside Sales Representative

Constellation1 is looking for a motivated and well-spoken Inside Sales Representative to join our sales team. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new leads, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process. You must be able to close sales and meet targets.  As the Inside Sales Representative, you will preform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision, interact professionally with other employees, managers and vendors, and work independently while understanding the necessity of communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.

Responsibilities:

Marketing Manager

Location: Kitchener/Markham, ON

Constellation1, a leader in real estate technology for brokerages, franchises, and MLS associations, is looking for a mid-level Marketing Manager with demonstrated experience in the real estate vertical or related field for software marketing to execute and manage online and offline marketing programs and communications for our brand.

This role is to fill a leave vacancy starting in May 2021. The role will be for a term of 12 to 18 months. There may be an opportunity to extend the placement.

Overall scope:

To execute and support the strategies set by the Head of Marketing for lead generation, brand, internal and external communications, content marketing, digital marketing, and enablement of customer-facing groups. The role works with key contractors to drive the business and currently has two full time staff that report into the Marketing Manager.

The best candidate will be able to:

  • execute and offer input on tactics on the Brand Strategy set by the Head of Marketing (including, for example: web assets, content, product names and messaging, graphics);
  • manage and execute new and ongoing inbound lead generation from potential and current customers (email, social, paid advertising, web, and blog);
  • be responsible for reporting to the Head of Marketing the performance highlights of both online and offline campaigns;
  • under the direction of the Head of Marketing, work closely with Sales to develop sales enablement materials to support the team with hitting revenue targets;
  • understand how to use the marketing tech stack, for example, technology automation (HubSpot) and become the superuser for the Marketing team;
  • collaborate with the Head of Marketing for internal communication initiatives and execution to create internal alignment among employees about our marketing focus so that all employees can support our brand; and
  • manage the marketing team and contractor resources for: Content Writer, Graphic Designer, Web Designer and Marketing Coordinator.

The best candidate will be comfortable executing the above activities personally and accept that the specific tasks and needs of the role may evolve over time as the Head of Marketing sets required strategies for the growing business unit. Additionally, the best candidate will have experience marketing software to brokerages.

Execute Constellation1 Brand Strategy

  • Create or update product positioning documentation under the new rebrand initiative that is developed by the Head of Marketing
  • Create web journey content: work with our designers to manage and collaborate on the execution of our websites. Ensure, with direction from the Head of Marketing’s strategy, we deliver clear messaging and calls to action to potential customers
  • Manage and execute our strategy on social media
  • Responsible for the creation of content required for marketing programs. You will do copywriting, editing, and proofreading; offer suggestions for curation; and make recommendations on what needs to be outsourced to our contracted professional copywriter
  • Assist in the development, and own the execution in collaboration with our designers, of collateral that is consistent with our branding, including product announcements and release notes

Manage and execute Constellation1 new and ongoing inbound lead generation

  • Leverage the marketing opportunities provided by our franchise and industry associations and agreements. Including the setup and ongoing development of a marketing-supported program for account-based marketing to strategic accounts named by the Head of Marketing
  • Increase the number of marketing qualified leads per month
  • Collaborate on the development, and own the execution, of back-to-base marketing campaigns, including regular announcements about new features and acquisitions
  • Work diligently to reach lead funnel goals as set by the Head of Marketing

Be responsible for reporting to the Head of Marketing performance of both online and offline campaigns

  • Assist in quantifying the quality of leads and track their conversion
  • ROI on specific investments such as events, social spend, email campaigns, content marketing efforts (there is overlap here with inbound lead tactics and execution)
  • Inform the Head of Marketing of content generation needs to achieve goals, KPIs, and uphold the strategies set by Head of Marketing

Work closely with BRKR Sales to ensure that they can hit revenue targets

  • Meet with Sales to understand their field and online needs for converting more leads
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Leadership to understand how we manage marketing spend and quality of the leads provided
  • Generate and maintain collateral to support the brand and Sales (such as sales decks and recommended social selling tactics), including how we best communicate internally with Sales

Be our super-user for Marketing’s tech stack to increase the efficiency of Constellation1 marketing

  • Use existing tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Vidyard, Chatbot) and learn to leverage new tools that may be introduced to make marketing operations more efficient
  • Improve segmentation of messaging to potential and existing customers
  • Work with Sales and the Salesforce Administrator to improve database quality (direction from the Head of Marketing will be available)
  • Create smart workflows and lead scoring, with some direction from the Head of Marketing
  • Responsible for the management of the marketing calendar in HubSpot and execution of related content

Execute and offer input for internal communication initiatives

  • Work with the Head of Marketing on internal communication plans for rebrand, product releases, acquisitions, etc.
  • Regularly communicate marketing focuses to employees to create brand engagement internally
  • Encourage key departments, like Customer Care, to support these marketing messages, to help with back-to-base sales and retention

Requirements:
